The care was very good. Our loved one was initially admitted for Rehabilitation. The therapy was exceptional. Our loved one did not progress as hoped and was transferred to more long term care which was also very good. The staff was friendly and kind. This was during Covid which made things a bit more difficult.

My daughter Alexus and I had a great time volunteerimg for activities. We helped the residents enjoy night time bingo. The winners were cheered on by their peers and chose a donated gift off the bingo cart. The activity staff provided residents with a drink and popcorn to snack on while playing. We all had a great time!

I have had 5 different relatives in different nursing homes over the years and I would have been pleased to have every one of them as residents of Grandview. My brother is now a long-term resident of Grandview and I have found his care to be very professional and attentive. Both the nursing and administration staffs are most responsive and available to do whatever it takes to please my brother and/or answer my requests. My brother has a dear lady friend in a different nursing home a number of miles away and the staff even arranged for scheduled telephone FACETIME visits and in-person visits to see her in her nursing home. Also, they have arranged for his ZOOM visits with our extended family, too.

Another “plus” for Grandview is its proximity to Geisinger Medical Center which adds to the professional care available. My brother’s doctor appointments there are arranged and completed without my concern. Reports on his health condition or changes are communicated to me often and even daily, if necessary. Our family is very satisfied that he is living at Grandview.

Everyone greeted me well and the administrator was very knowledgeable and help me put my fears to rest overall everyone is very welcoming

I came to Grandview after a bad fall and severe infection that required IV antibiotics. I couldn’t use my arm and needed help caring for myself. The good folks here helped me get back to myself. I am thrilled to be going home after less than a month!
